OPERATION TORA - TORA

A dramatized crime novel about the blowing up of Nord Stream. From the planning room in the White House, via Oslo and the divers in Florida, to the Bornholm Deep and the investigations that fell silent. Follow the operation step by step, with names, places, decisions and silences, in a cold and intimate story about Europe's most debated act of sabotage.

SOMEONE BLEW UP EUROPE'S GAS PIPELINE. NO ONE WAS CHARGED. December 2021: a working group in the White House receives an assignment that must never be written down. Summer 2022: divers work during the NATO exercise BALTOPS in the waters off Bornholm. September 2022: a sonar buoy is dropped from a reconnaissance plane and four explosions shake the Baltic Sea. In Stockholm and Berlin, preliminary investigations are opened and quickly meet walls of secrecy. In Washington, press conferences are held. Somewhere in between lies the truth. A documentary-style dramatized crime novel about power, loyalty and a crime that everyone saw, and no one solved.
